Clergy Medical Insurance Coverage Under Diocesan Reunification: An Illustration

In the Diocese of Northern Indiana, congregations are responsible for paying 100% of the cost of clergy medical insurance. In the Diocese of Indianapolis, the diocesan budget pays for 75% of medical insurance coverage, and a portion of dental coverage, with clergy being responsible for the balance. With limited exceptions, congregations have no financial responsibility for clergy medical and dental insurance in the Diocese of Indianapolis.
